Chandler Parsons is getting his 15 million per year from the Mavs of all teams. I myself think we should let him go. I'd like to know some alternatives to him that are possible.

Tucker, Ariza, Deng? Who else is there? And would we be able to get anyone while signing Bosh also?

Deng is going to be looking for a similar deal.

I agree. He was just one of the few FA wings I could think of.

Parsons, good player but not a max player. Ridiculous money.

I'd like to go after PJ Tucker honestly. He'd be much cheaper and we saw how great defensively last season. Also has improved his 3pt stroke quite a bit. I'm seeing rumors of a possible SnT with him, maybe we could use the trade exception from the Asik deal if I'm not mistaken and throw in a pick or 2. If not that, Marion is another cheap, good option. He could see us get Bosh and want to latch onto a contender.

    None.

We cannot sign Bosh and sign any of those players. We can sign Bosh and Parsons.

Even if we don't get Bosh, one of Deng/Hill/Gasol(basically anybody we want to sign) AND Parsons is better then any individual player we could sign Deng/Ariza/Tucker etc.

We can only offer like 2.7mill per season if we don't keep Parsons. So none of the poll options are realistic

There is no guarantee that ANY OF THEM will sign with Houston, let alone at an "affordable" price. They are free human beings who are free to choose where they go and each has plenty of suitors.

I'm aware of that. I mostly created this thread so others can throw out other options. These are the only ones I know of.

Are we trying to get better or just fill out the roster?
You can't tell me dumping Asik/Lin and giving all our cap money to Parsons is getting better.

1st round exit here we come.
