ESPN's likes the mention that Nike missed with Curry, lol Nike really messed up with Harden, who is more marketable than Curry. and stands to make way more than Curry in the future off the basketball court, because he is the man on his own team

Lol I told y'all the new gen doesn't give a F about Jordan. Jordan is old and fat, the teenagers today won't grow up idolizing him.

 

There was a point when people stopped buying Jordans for basketball exclusively. Jordan has evolved into a style brand too.

 

A lot of it is cause youngrr people don't like wearing basketball shoes with their casual wear anymore. It's not even the Yeezy. The biggest sellers by far are the ultraboost and NMD which are hella tight as casual shoes but would probably break if you tried to play ball in them. Nike on the other hand doesn't really do fully "style only" shoes. Their closest things are either skateboarding shoes or running shoes. In aesthetics alone Adidas totally smokes Nike and it isn't close right now.
