There are people that you wished you could've met before they died, Chris Farley is one of them for me. I agree with @Roc Paint, I absolutely loved him! Hope I get to meet Adam Sandler one day, he's cut from the same funny bones as Farley was... (P.S.) That tribute was very touching, hope my friends have fond memories of me when I kick the bucket... Kudos to Sandler...WELL DONE INDEED!! ....... ....... .......
It was a rare good episode start-to-finish... even though its been 20+ years, former cast members like Sandler could do SNL sketches in his sleep and still be superior to both current cast members and any other possible host. Weakest spot was actually their digital/recorded stuff (which is usually the only redeeming aspect of show besides WU). Didn't know if they'd still bring back Operaman, and if it would still seem fresh... but ended up being tremendous. The Farley tribute was icing.
Damn that made me tear up. So missed, so funny and such a shame this world didn’t get more Chris Farley.
not really into sandler commedy, though he did make some good movies with drew barrymore. but he really knows how to make a feel good song.
I despise this celebrity worship culture that seems to be so prevalent today. That being said, I was (and still am) a HUGE Chris Farley fan. I still remember where I was and what I was doing when my buddy called me and told me he had died. I was in a funk for a good while after that. He had a way about him that made you think he was your best friend, even if you'd never met him.
Huge Sandler fan growing, I still watch his current movies even though it's a shade of his best stuff in the 90s/early 2000s but I highly recommend his Netflix film "The Week Of" from last year, that was a great/touching film Loved the Farley dedication, definitely one for the ages,. I've probably watched Tommy Boy more than any other movie in my life, and still love it today.
