That would be great, but what would we get? A number 1?

    Good luck, Dream!

Notice that ESPN is reporting a Houston report. This isn't "According to ESPN."

This is also a Chronicle article, too. In fact, hasn't this been posted?

gb-not funny. I thought he was supposed to be the man in Chicago? Maybe we'll send him back to yall for Eddy Curry. Skinner will provide a good veteran presence for Tyson "Chicken" Chandler. [IMG]

    Skinner? Yeccchhh.
A number one would be MUCH better. We could save all the cap for Marc Jax, Mo, and Shandon, and then get more depth in the draft next year.

crispee, it seems to me that you're the only one paranoid over the thread. I just stated "According to ESPN" because that where I found the info from. It really doesn't matter to me where it came from, "unless it's Vescey", I just want something good in return if the deal goes through with Toronto.

I know this seems out of the question, but if we could get Morris Peterson as compensation from the Raptors, the deal might be worth it.

    j-bone,

I know you were just posting what you saw. I apologize if I sounded like an admin trying to admonish you. Clutch always wants people to post any news. He always does.

But, j-bone, Clutch wrote that on the front page with all the necessary links, and the recent Feigen and Lopez articles mention it, as well. Further, we have a link on the front page that says Fegan nixed a sign n trade offer with the Raptors.

I'm sorry. I am paranoid. I shouldn't even mention it.

Seriously? I think it's going to be OK, plus, some of us come straight to the BBS. I haven't visited the main page in I don't know when.

I'd be happy with a package of Keon Clark and Toronto's trade exception. Why would the Rockets want Mo Pete? Don't they have enough SF already?

I would be shocked if the Rockets merely settled on Brian Skinner without going after another big man.

Skinner for Hakeem? Ha! I'd rather trade Olajuwon for a six-pack of Molson XXX or a complete library of Kids In the Hall episodes. Heck, I'll take Celine Dion for Hakeem before dealing for Skinner.

Skinner is not a bad option. He is more a 4 than a 5 but can play the 5 position. He won't post Hakeem like numbers but will definitely be a better option than Cato. Hakeem is gone and IMO didn't want to stay in the first place so might as well get something/someone that can contribute this year. I believe his contract is up next year so if he doesn't pan out he's gone.
