The Demonization of another Rockets star is in full swing. Steve Francis Tracey McGrady and now... Aaron Brooks. Why do people feel the need to rip on the best players on their team for not be great enough? The kid plays as best as he can. He may have flaws but we're better with Brooks than without. He should not be the focus of anyone's anger. That looked to be a pretty bad sprain, even if MRI shows it to be negative, that's probably going to take a long time to heal. He may not be fully back for 6 weeks.
WTF!!!!!!!!!! Their's 1 second on the clock and stupid a$$ ginobili trys to draw a charge at half court I swear the spurs are always trying to injure players, it started with punk a$$ Bowen
At least it seemed that way tonight after Brooks left the game. For the first time this season the team played cohesively and with a sense of purpose. We will see tonight and in the next week if, indeed, a change in the starting pg position has brought this new development in team chemistry. Get well soon Brooks, but don't hurry to come back. I would like to see how this team plays with a real pg.
There should have been a blocking foul called on Ginobli. He stepped into Brooks path while AB was in the air. I guess since Bowen is gone someone has to be the dirty spurs player.
It will not be so much about wins and losses but it is more about how the team plays when run by a real pg. The interesting thing to watch is how the Rockets win or lose games when Brooks is not running the pg position.
The only contact that was made was after the shot, when Brooks landed on Manu's feet. It was not a blocking foul. All he did was try to take a charge.
Fixed. And, I definitely agree with you. Many people on this board seem to be almost happy that AB is injured.
This is what every star of the teams goes through. Its much easier for fans to blame one person, usually the best on the team. It happens all the time. Nothing new.
Weak minds require scapegoats. They make problems seem simple, solutions easy, and afford a focal point for anger. It matters not whether the subject matter is economics, politics, business, or sports. Scapegoat one; scapegoat all.
