If he shed some weight and improved his conditioning, he could be pretty good. All the weakness I've seen from him is that he is too slow and gets tired easily. He can't jump, but he doesn't need to. I saw him dunk standing straight up. He's a huge kid. Pair him with Yao and nobody (sane enough) would drive on the Rockets again.

i watched clips of him, and he looks like godzilla swatting down airplanes, ridiculous. that being said, his movement is terrible. hes very slow due to his height, and would be largely ineffective at the next level. theres a reason hes at unc-ashville and not a big time div 1 team. he might make it to the pros, but only as an experiement that would undoubtedly fail. watching him playing made me appreciate yao x10000 times more. yao looks like a world class sprinter in comparison to him with the agility of a running back.

everyone should watch his videos as everyone is very quick to dog yao for his shortcomings

it is v.hard for a huge man to play a child's game with a tennis ball

In terms of speed, this Kenny George dude makes Yao look like AI or Barbosa.

considering he weighs 360lbs, he's pretty agile.. if he stays healthy do you guys think any NBA team would take a chance on him? Yao would totally own him though

I don't see why not...There has always a place in the league (end of the bench ) for no talent 7 footers.

    My take:

His name is Kenny George and the game is currently on ESPN2. As a basketball player, the guy is a complete stiff. His mobility and lack of hops make Yao Ming look like Kobe.

There is a reason that Yao has been the only 7'5"+ star in the league history. Giants typically don't fare well in the NBA. This kid is going to be no more than a George Muresan due to his lack of quickness and stamina. If you think that Yao gets exposed sometimes on defense, imagine this kid trying to guard a pick and roll...
