6 rebounds from GS missed free throw. Basically it is only 20 in-game rebounds in Game 1. My co-worker said average shot attempts per game for playoffs is 88 and rebounds is 44. - Golden State have serious rebounding issues for Small-Ball. They have 38 rebounds in Game 1. How to take the GS advantage? - more rebounds means more shot attempts. - Rockets have 3 offensive rebounds in Game 1 because Capela switch to 25 feet to guard small players. How to improve the rebounds in Game 2? Any player that's attempting to get a rebound must stay low so they wont be knocked off their spot. Staying low also allows you to explode up quicker and get to the ball faster as the shot is missed. Once you have established position, it'll be harder for an opposing player to remove you from your spot.
Capela did a fantastic job defending the perimeter, where he was for most of the game. When he is out there on the three point line, other guys have to step in and rebound too.
yea.. but for the refs on that cheating s*it the Rockets would have won. Yea...capela has to grow a pair also.
For once, I have to say thank you to @BigBum for bringing this **** back to basketball. Enough with the whining, enough with the L2M reports, enough with the audits! The refs obviously ****ed us yesterday, but the fact is we STILL could have won. Clint Capela should seriously be embarrassed to watch film from that game. He was constantly out of position, fumbling passes, showing weak hands in traffic, and just basically playing like a pansy ass. If he nuts up, and plays the way we know he can, we'll be in position to win again tomorrow night. There needs to be an absolute focus on rebounding the basketball.
