If every team went to the season with the roster they have which team would be the 2nd best team in the west.
Anyone putting Spurs is equally delusional. We were as good as they were last season - just lost Nene and harden ran out of gas. After getting Chris Paul especially that matchup vs Parker we are definitely better
Wolves 2nd and rockets/spurs fight for third. The spurs will be there unless we prove otherwise. The spurs prove time and time again that they are better than the rockets. Okc is a bad match for the rockets even though i think we will have more wins.

I think the Spurs will get 2nd best record in West. Kawaii will get better and Popovich is a huge advantage over the other teams. Teams with new key players usually take awhile to gel and some of them may not even work out very well.
Regular season means nothing if Jim Harden goes on to choke and then quit in successive playoff games

Lol I can understand people saying Spers but OKC was **** last year. Maybe if Rox didnt do any moves you can argue OKC would be better but c'mon now. They even lost Oladipo who was big for them last year so while they did upgrade by adding both PG and that defensive pf they still lost some pieces in return.
I hate the "until" arguments. This is about forecasting the future. Not about earning respect before you take someone elses spot. So with that same logic we could sign lebron and steph but "until the games are played and we go out there and prove we are better than the spurs im saying spurs are better" Its fine if you just think the spurs are a more talented team and predict they will win more. Is that what you are forecasting?
My thoughts exactly. OKC moves from 6 to 4/5 imo. I can respect somebody saying spurs if they actually just believe they are a more talented team. They "gotta go out there and prove it" or "we lost to spurs last year" arguments are terrible though. When making predictions you dont have the luxury of saying "we gotta wait and see if rockets can earn it before i put them above the spurs" That defeats the whole purpose of a forecast. Reminds me when chuck asked shaq who would win finals he said "i gotta see the 1st 2 games. I can make a prediction after i see the 1st two games" lol wtf?
Not bad. Only thing you have clearly wrong is the Blazers will finish in front of the Jazz. A full season of Nurkic plus a better than expected rookie season from Zach Collins is the difference.
Finally someone who isnt drinking the minny kool aid. Minny has a great future and made nice moves but it is insanity to think they will junp to 2 seed or 3 seed this year. 6 sounds about right to me.
