That's not a lot of weight for a 3-4 DE.

So you're saying he has some upside & potential? ;)

    How's his versatility?

Ya he’s gonna have to put some work in the weight room. Think he can be a player for us.

I like this pick. I listened to his interview on NFL.com and he has a great attitude. He's Nigerian, so obviously he's following in the footsteps of Houston sports royalty -- aiming to make an impact like the great Nigerian Amobi Okoye.

    GOOD DAY

He might still be "skinny" by NFL standards, although I never thought that was the case when watching him play, but his transformation from high school to now makes it obvious he has no problem spending time in the weight room.

Ya I’m too worried about it. Like the prospect of lining him up opposite JJ with Clowney and Mercilus behind them. His length could clear out some space.

He also has the frame to add a good bit of non-flab weight, UT didn't really ask him to do that his last couple of years there.

    Really liked this pick.
    Best "value" of our draft.

Didn't think there would be any way he'd make it to the 5th.
I was hoping either he or Joe Jackson would make it to our 3rd round selection, but BOTH were still there in the 5th.

I (at the time) actually would have taken Joe Jackson (better strength + non-stop motor) but I didn't realize that the senior Omenihu at 21 is 1-1.5 years younger than the junior Jackson.

A year or two on an NFL strength & conditioning program should help him fill out as he gets older and hopefully "Big Daddy Weave" can impart some hand-fighting knowledge to him along with J.J.

Him & "Sharpie" are my two favorite picks.

Crickets. I guess PFF is only relevant when they can be used to run down the Texan OL.
