With disgruntled CFers in various threads calling for non-China, basketball-related content, I thought I'd start one of the most obviously important Rockets-themed threads of the season: an omnibus Ryan Anderson all-news, all-commentary thread. Photos, photoshops, comments, complaints, loves, hates, appreciations, denunciations . . . all of it.

    So bring it on ClutchFans.

Thank you for putting this thread up. The other threads are getting too political for me to enjoy.

As for Ryan, well I was one of the ones rooting him on when all the haters started hating. I tried and tried to stay positive, but was extremely disappointed in him when he seemed to give up before the playoffs. His hot potato getting rid of the ball and being afraid to shoot just ended up being a letdown for me. He gave up and I gave up on him as well because of it.

That being said, I am excited about having him back. I think he can make us stronger if he shows what he is possible of from behind the arc like he once was. I welcome another forward on our team who can not only give us more depth, but can fit in with our style of play. I think our team is going to be fun to watch this year in a much more competitive league all across the board. Bring it on Ryan! Go Rockets!

Cleverly disguised China thread. Well done OP!

Agree, Anderson belongs in China (with Brewer).

That happened during a preseason game in 2016. It's Lance Stephenson. How Trig found it... I can't help there.

A shooting big man will always have a job somewhere on a basketball team. I don't think Anderson has starting material contribution anymore, but I wouldn't mind him off the bench for spot minutes and if he gets hot (ergo Gerald Green's role) keep him in the game.

At the Vet's minimum, it's not absurd to keep him on the bench. He's not here to play lock down DEFENSE, his role would strictly to stretch the floor and box out other players. IF he was on the team for what we paid him previously (roughly 16-18 million) then no thank you!

Now that Bennett is gone, I suppose we'll have to keep him (for the lulz).

I wonder if Silver will consider him as extremely hot too.

It's sad to see such a talented shooter scared to do the one thing he's good at: shooting. He always fades, hesitates and it's literally the only thing he can do. And he cannot even do that right. So, keep him around to keep Gordon happy, but please keep him off the court.

Why do these Anderson threads keep getting buried?

If we want to keep Ryan Anderson thread alive we MUST keep talking about him.

I mean, how long are we going to ignore his preseason lateral movement?
Haven't you grown to love some part of his game?
What about all his inknown qualities?
How many game weiners will he hit this year?
