Listening to Lance Zerlein and looking back on positions we drafted, I’m ok with what happened. Every player we drafted plays a position of need. Even if i didn’t like the name... It’s a process. Gaine didn’t have his guys and basically used Ricks guys.
Who's guy it is is a bigger deal than it should be. Gaine was one of Rick's guys and should be familiar with others on staff. He pretty much just got promoted from assistant GM to GM after taking a year off.
Disagree. Gaine could be telling his scouts to look for bigger and faster being that he was a “Parcells guy”
Whoever said that Mercilus could be a cap cut has no idea what they're talking about. Neither of those guys are at all likely to come in and instantly provide the kind of production that Mercilus does. They are drastically underestimating Whit's value to this defense.
