Good one. But I think you can't compare KAT to Capela. KAT is more of a ISO scorer and good ball handler that plays like a SF at times and doesn't rely that much on an entry pass like Capela or Ayton do. Their roles couldn't be more different in their teams and that was most evident in first round of last playoffs.
In that case, you can't compare Capela to Ayton. Ayton and KAT are more alike than Ayton is to Capela. In truth, you can compare them all while at the same time acknowledging their differences. But more important than all of this is: don't underestimate defense. In the NBA, Capela is elite among big men for his ability to hold up on the perimeter against all but the most elite perimeter players.
Man the Knicks are really awful, first 5 minutes basically went this way: Lance Thomas isolation and brick Hardaway isolation and brick Burke isolation and brick Lance Thomas isolation and brick Hardaway isolation and brick Burke isolation and brick Lance Thomas isolation and brick Hardaway isolation and brick Burke isolation and brick
I hope they get a great pick this year and draft a stud...I want them to be good and relevant in the NBA MSG is amazing when the Knicks are good
Giannis said he’d be shooting more threes this season...all this dude is missing is a legit jumper...if he ever got that then
It's sickening how much ESPN pisses themselves over LABron. Them and NBA.com - the headline story was how much Bron shined but neglected to mention that they lost. And per usual, the Rockets were down towards the bottom of the page near the legal notice.
I only watched the first half and he barely touched the ball...like, 3/4 times, i hope they let him develop and have his touches, it will be awful if they isolate him just to let those scrubs of Hardaway, Burker and Thomas to do whatever they want. But we're talking about the Knicks so...you never know smh.
The more I think about it, the more I think Pop holds players back. Kawhi is gonna unleash that true playmaking ability at the forward like Giannis, Simmons and LeBron.
Ayton may not be better than Capela right now but he has the potential to be I think is the point. Also, I think Luka Doncic is likely going to be a star as well... As for Ayton though, he's looked pretty great in preseason, that shot of his looks like money too.
