Yeah I don't like the way Dekker just jumps up there and snags the rebounds aggressively relying on his athleticism. Psh...anybody can do that. Box outs are where it's at. And you're being a good teammate by letting other guys pad their stats and actually secure the rebound. Everybody's happy. Obviously Dekker is just selfish.
Dmo should go to okc they love to box out so there guard can grab the rebounds and get triple doubles lol. He would fit right in.
Personally I like players like Dekker filling out their tenure and potential with the Rockets, I don't like sell-high / revolving door rosters. (I really think its why D-Mo had so much fan attention even though he wasnt consistent - he simply made himself at home, and fans watched him grow with the team for many years) I have to keep reminding myself cant fall in love with any Rockets player, or can't project them into long term plans. But its just how things have to be done. An established star like a Paul Millsap isnt pleasing for fans' following, but if available would be a clear upgrade if you have to deal young emerging assets to get him - to add in with a Ryan Anderson or by themselves.
Pretty sure it was a mega pimple. Go look at the video, doesn't look like an elbow to face. http://www.nba.com/rockets/video/teams/rockets/2017/01/22/1485065807241-Sam-1154859 You guys ruined my attempt at humor.
Honesty . . . . . I am not overly worried about this season I think the team has the ideal of the team strategy The rest of the season should be able learning and developing Dekker, Trez, Capela - They need to be brought along for the playoffs Rocket River
It was nice knowing you as a Rockets! Good luck on your next team and remember not to talk back to the MVP
Wanted to give Dekker props for knocking down his 3's last night, he's far exceeded my expectations of him coming in, and him playing well is going to be key with Brewer gone and us going to the 3 guard bench lineup. Now he's going to be the one that teams leave open to send help, gotta knock em down, while also taking tougher defensive matchups, and being depended on to track down rebounds with the smaller lineup.
