You are assuming the Warriors bring their "A" game. I'm not ready to do that. Things rarely go according to script in the NBA Finals.

I either want cleveland to win, then LeBron to go on and end up with 8 or something rings total; or else just get swept out of the finals again this year, then fall short for the rest of his career. Idk why just get a definitive historical narrative going in one direction or the opposite.

I don't want the Warriors to feel vindicated for their bullshit. I'd rather Lebron win 13 rings. I hope he stomps on KD and Steph, again.

The Basketball Gods need to show up for this one.

I bet on warrriors to sweep but I bet the Cavs to cover in game 1 and over 225. So I want the warriors to win game 1 by 1-6 points.

    I want warriors 116, cavs 110.

If you guys are just rooting with your heart like you did as a teenager you are missing out. Nothing beats the game within the game.

Jordan won 3 rings from 32-35. lebron already has 3 and he is 32.

still, LeBron's record in the finals is nowhere near Jordan's

Not to crap on Curry, but "swelling" along with a sleeve on it?

Good game = overcame the swelling.
Bad game = it was because of the swelling.

Either way, hard to prove swelling to the TV audience when there's a sleeve.

I am going to root for and pick the Cavaliers. For the same reasons the Rockets lost, and that is that Golden State will not adjust when the defense steps out. And Curry will not play like an MVP. Though it's much closer this year obviously. In 7.

So if the Warriors win it will be with Durant as MVP. If the Cavs win it will be with James as MVP. I think it's more likely that James will be MVP so Cavs in six or seven.

I am actually rooting for the Warriors, though, but I can just picture Durant and Curry shrinking, Thompson disappearing, and Green doing his best to simultaneously win and lose the series for the Warriors. For the Cavs, James is going to be unstoppable, probably average a triple-double and be the NBA's version of a five-tool player, and Irving is going to eat up Curry. Which is the same as last year, but this year Love will be important and is going to average a strong double-double instead of being the inconsistent liability he was last finals. If it wasnt for the schedule giving the James so much rest the Cavs depth would be the real MVP since the Warriors have so many unproven important players while the Cavs have guys like Deron Williams, Korver, Frye, Jefferson, and Shumpert.

I understand why the Durant is hated for forming the Warriors super team, but James responded by forming a super team of his own with that payroll and bench.
