    jmc vs ftw = jmc

that length jmc has at the front court is a killer. they also seem to have a more potent offense judging by the starters. on a 7 game series, this will go 4-3 or 4-2, with lerbon willing a couple of wins, but ultimately won't be enough.

but to be real, the real winner here is jontro.

I'll vote for FTW, I like the matchup for him. LeBron has a big physical mismatch vs. any defender there - Duncan too slow, Prince too weak, Wade too small. FTW also matches up well defensively. Prince isn't a big danger, so I assume Ron Artest would defend Wade.

FTW can even afford to start JRich here, because FTW doesn't really need Avery Bradley's defense in this matchup. JRich would be fine defending Prince and he would be a big boost offensively.

Team jmc is a bit too old school, only one real shooter there, so their offense probably won't be as good as their talent level. Especially with Artest on Wade.

Vote goes to ftw, feel like he owns several key matchups here.

The team is extremely athletic and more versatile than jmc's starting unit, it will be hard to keep up with him.
On defense, Artest probably gets switched on Wade, which leads to Richardson beign able to start and adding firepower (Donatas also mentioned this). LeBron is probably one of the best defenders you can have on Duncan, as he's extremely physical and gets help from Artest&Bogut occassionally, who will all help bothering Duncan and not giving him good looks. Seeing how Duncan is surrounded by only one great scorer (Wade), Artest and Bogut can focus on Duncan and keep scoring in the paint and midrange area to a minimum.

On the perimeter, Paul and Artest should be able to keep up with Bibby and Wade, with Paul clearly winning his matchup.
In general, jmc's team really could've benefited from one more elite shot creator in the starting five, it would be pretty hard to match ftw's scoring potential and versatiltiy.

I really like the team ftw assembled, the defensive versatility and athleticism is incredible and porbably the best in this draft. This team would be a nightmare to play against and I can see them heavily playing a zone like Miami did in the small-ball lineups wiith LeBron, where there's constant switching and double-teaming, maknig the opponents uncomfortable and destroying their gameplan. This would work especially well vs. jmc's slower unit.

I get he has a good defensive team but Lebron and Cp3 are basically the same thing....point guards. When CP3 has the ball is lebron just gonna spot in the corner? The spacing with artest is not very good. Thats not a good offense. Gobert and Duncan would make the paint very hard for them to score. Just dont see it

CP3 is one of the best spot-up shooters in the league, he'd be a dangerous asset off the ball. Plus, having LeBron come off screens or going backdoor would be a great option when you have CP3 handling the ball, as Prince would have problems keeping up.

Artest's shooting is a valid question, but it has to be noted that he took some very bad shots, but would be a 3rd option here and only shoot off quality looks. He also had great percentages a couple of seasons. Prince had a better 3pt% (but never on an elite level) over his career, but you have to note how he only averaged more than two 3pt attempts per game in TWO seasons of his career. He's not a guy you can rely on to get hot and shoot a ton of 3s in this series.

Agree that Duncan and Gobert is a hell of a paint defense, but you also got to acknowledge that FTW has some great shooters (CP3, Richardson) and slashers like LeBron, he has an uptempo-offense that isn't designed to compete against Duncan and Gobert. He owns the perimeter defense as well.

That said, you know we have to vote for someone, it's especially tough in the Finals. You're here for a reason and everyone agrees you have a great team, but we have to find a winner somehow.

I don't why people see CP3 and LBJ as a problem. As I said one of them will be on the court at all times which is a huge advantage. Secondly, LBJ is not just a spot up when CP3 is handling. He can slash, make back door cuts etc. CP3 would be able to throw some nasty lobs and passes where LBJ can use his athleticism. When LBJ handles, CP3 becomes an elite spot up shooter.

There's a huge stigma when it comes to two elite ball handlers sharing the court, don't know where it's stemming from.

People will see with CP3 and Harden next season, having additional playmaking talent only makes a team stronger and more difficult to defend.
This is only a problem when there's bad blood between players, but with a team built on multiple playmakers, it is almost impossible to calculate the next move.

Yea, Olympics are vs weaker competition, but in many situations you can see how this translates to the court, the ball movement is impossible to read and you'll see chances created that no opponent even thought of.
