I really like Cristian Javier though. Undersized, fb sits in the 90-92 range but dude knows how to pitch.

Don't agree with Cameron at eight (imo not top 10), and don't really know anything about Celestino, but good with the rest.

    On the down side..

    J.B. Bukauskas vs. Hudson Valley: 3+ IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 3 K

He left 2 runners on for Ben Smith and both of them scored.

Abraham Toro-Hernandez homered again for Quad Cities. The solo homer gives him 12 blasts (6 with Tri-City, 6 with Quad Cities) in 51 games this season.

Ronnie Dawson has a 2-run homer (14) for the Banditos.

Well, Younger Tucker was bound to hit a bump at some point.

He does have a solo homer (10, 19 season) in the 2nd game of Corpus Christi's doubleheader in Tulsa, though.

Yordan Alvarez only has one home run since his promotion to Buies Creek, but he's slashing .302/.380/.377 with RISP since moving to North Carolina, driving in 26 in such situations.

Power is the easiest thing to develop for guys with the right talent.

True. I forget that Alvarez literally just turned 20, so he's really just starting to learn how to tap into his power in a game environment. Nice to see that his bat is back on track a little after hitting the wall at the end of July/start of August.

Your man Carmen Benedetti finished a homer shy of the cycle tonight.

    Fangraphs updated Top 100:

    http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/summer-top-100-prospects/

    15 Tucker
    19 Whitley
    62 Perez
    78 Alvarez

No honorable mentions; I figured at least one of Bukauskas, Rogers, Cameron, or C Perez would get a nod. But for them to have 4 Top 100 guys an it not include Martes or Fisher is solid.

Houston has 15 guys on their 40 man roster born in 1991 or later (Paulino, who is suspended, makes 16):

    Stassi
    Bregman
    Correa
    Kemp
    Reed
    Moran
    Davis
    Fisher
    Marisnick
    Feliz
    Guduan
    Gustave
    Martes
    McCullers
    Musgrove
    Paulino

That's 16 guys who have already reached the majors who likely still have not reached their prime.
