As a Nets fan, I knew that Bryon Scott was going to be a disaster, so I was not thrilled with him going to the Lakers. Not to mention that I hate the Lakers in general.

But just for the record, Lin is from California, but he is not from Southern California. You may not be aware, but Northern Californians are not fans of Southern California.

As a Rockets fan I knew Airemy was going to be a disaster so I was happy Lakers were going to have to ride him out and not us. Let them enjoy their hometown scrub lol...

We gave up a draft pick to get rid of him but honestly, that was one of the best spent draft picks.

Now, he is where he belongs, on the worst team in the league.

While Airemy was sucking on the Lakers after making costly blunders in the playoffs a year ealier, this guy was making clutch shots in game 7 of playoffs to help us into the WCF.

After the Airemy disaster, It felt good to have a PG that knew his limits, played within them, and helped contribute in the playoffs.

    Thank you Pablo!

Just a year later, the geriatric showed Airemy how to run the point. Sad.

I suppose it should have been a sign that Lin would struggle with the Rockets as Dragic and Lowry did. Rockets did have a recent challenge with PGs. Still, he's been the most productive PG the Rockets have had until MDA made Harden the PG.

Beverley has made 2 ALL NBA defensive teams while playing with Harden. I would say that s more productive than anything Lin did.

    Bev >>>>> Jerry Lin

We've established and agreed that Beverley is a great 3-and-D player, no question about it. Better at 3pt shooting and on-ball defense than Lin, no question about it. But Lin is more accomplished offensive playmaker and scorer than Beverley...and that's not even counting his place in history as a player scoring the most points in his first 5 NBA starts since the NBA/ABA merger.

    LOL! Lin the most productive...

He was a disaster. Some awful blunders in playoffs that cost us the series simply because he wanted to play hero ball. Which is why us Rockets fans were so happy when the guy was finally shipped out. Good riddance!

Prior to that the deer in the headlights look, and then excused himself out of the series with a bruised after an atrocious showing.

The guy was garbage which is why Morey was looking to trade him and couldn't find a taker until we had to give up a pick just to get rid of the guy.

Pablo in his limited time did more for us in the playoffs than Airemy Lin did.

    Yup. Not even close.

Even Pablo did more for us in the playoffs in limited time than Airemy did.

Lin was a failure. You dont give up a pick to get rid of a productive guy. You give up a pick to get rid of trash which is what Morey did. He was a liability.

Productive guys dont rot on the worst team in the league like Airemy Lin is.

Happy for Lin that when he stepped off the court for the last time as a Rocket, they were winning Game 6 with less than a second left on the clock.

Airemy the scrub had a couple of turnovers in the fourth quarter, was bricking his shots in the 4th as well and was a miserable 4-13 for the game. If he wasn't sucking so bad that game we could have won it comfortably.

You know you have a scrub on hand when your own home team announcers are calling you out. Bill with the "What is he dooooooing????" Live on TV as Airemy was trying to be a hero and failing miserably lol...

So happy for my Rockets when Airemy the scrub got dumped on the Lakers.

Best trade ever. Got rid of him and went to the WCF without him throwing playing games away, just because he wanted to be a hero and failed miserably.

Bonus:. Got to enjoy the Lakers fans being miserable with Airemy on their team.

If we got rid of the LOF we could have a normal discussion about a player like all the other players we talk about

Haha, he tried to be slick about Airemy in game 6.

In reality, Ariemy was sucking it up in game 6.

4-13 for the game. A disastrous 4th quarter with missed shots and turnovers. And they were ugly bricks as well. Not even close.

But we shouldn't be surprised. You have already caught yoeddy lying earlier on a different matter.

The irony here is that McHale wasnt wrong for taking Lin out. He was actually wrong for not yanking him out earlier. If Airemy wasn't bricking the the 4th quarter, or the entire game for that matter, we could have had a game 7.

I still cant believe Mo Williams of all people stole Airemy Lin's lunch in the playoffs. The same Mo Williams who had a history of choking in the playoffs. That is the best matchup Airemy could have asked for and he still managed to stink it up! Lulz...

The irony here is that Lillard was scoreless in the 4th quarter until they took Lin out with less than a second left in the game.

    Haha I know.

    Utterly sad and pathetic.

There is a reason Morey told Les that "this is why he didnt want [Airemy] here." It was Airemy's idiocy and utterly poor decision making with the ball.

Airemy's fate was sealed after that disastrous playoff series. Morey was looking to ship him out after that.

Poor Morey had to wait for a long time and eventually give up a pick to get rid of him though because no one wanted that scrub without getting something in return.

lol, yeah. Lakers wanted no part of that scrub once that contract was up in a year.

    Good analogy.

...and also only one gear and no brakes.

We dumped Airemy on the Lakers and were like....

Watching this hbo special about North Korea
These citizens are brainwashed into worshiping their leader

Lin fans are not like them in the sense that they worship lin on their own free will and of course extreme stupidly

At least the North Koreans like Dennis Rodman
Significantly better player than Lin and a better role model too
