Too hard to game plan for a guy who can go for 200/200. I'd take him over all the ones you listed. No saying they're not good as well but jackson is on a different planet

UH has the best run defense in the country. Louisville is the best running team in the country.

    Stocking up on popcorn.

Thoughts on OU vs Ohio St tonight?

Pulling for OU. Didn't realize until the UH vs OU game that both of Mayfield's parents went to UH, and his dad played for Yeoman. Pretty cool.

He isn't that good of a passer. I would take Watson or kizer over him.

The NFL is definitely moving to a league where you see more dual-threat QBs or at least mobile QBs, but at the end of the day are teams going to select him over QBs that have showed throwing prowess? Not saying Lamar can't pass, but 3 games so far saying he'd be the #1 pick is a bold statement. What if he ends up like Braxton Miller or Terrelle Pryor? I'm not sold on Kaaya but Watson and Kizer still look like better prospects.

Running QB's routinely wash out and all too often "dual threat" QB's end up being more running QB than passing QB and that eventually leads to their downfall. So I agree with you that SMART teams wouldn't draft a runner over a more traditional QB that is excellent at just being a QB.

It's going to be interesting. If Ohio beats OU and there are no other upsets, UH should move up to 4 or 5. I could see Louisville moving up as far as 6th. They might even surpass UH with the beating they put on FSU.

Looks like Colorado's sneaking up on Michigan so far, but not sure it'll last.

Random aside...is Alabama kicker Adam Griffith a tenth-year senior or something? It seems like that guy has been in college forever.

How crazy would it be if the top 4 seeds all go down in the same week? Don't think the top 3 have ever gone down in the same week, at least not that I can recall. Michigan down 14-0 to Colorado early on.

Why would you think UH might stay ahead of Louisville? Louisville just thrashed the #2 team. I could see Louisville at 2-4. Doesn't matter though. UH plays Louisville.

If OSU beats OU pretty handily, I wonder how that affects UH. If OU loses a couple more times, is that victory over OU going to mean so much to UH? Good news is that UH plays Louisville, which is an even more prime opponent. UH pretty much controls their own destiny. If they win out, they should be in the playoffs. I don't predict UH winning out unfortunately, but I will root for them.

Yeah, that's why I also threw in "mobile QBs." Cause Watson and Kizer aren't runners by design usually, but they have that ability to do so if needed (similar to how an Alex Smith/Dalton/Bortles can run a read option but are pocket passers), whereas Lamar Jackson is honestly more of a running QB.

Not sure I buy this. People have been trying to say this for 25 years after Randall Cunningham and Steve Young were great, but at the end of the day you don't want your QB running and getting clobbered by somebody the size of Jadeveon Clowney.

Alabama in trouble vs. Ole Miss...

Alabama needs to try a different QB. Hurts has played awful so far today

Alabama has a huuuuuuge gripe on that last play. TD should've come back on the PF and truthfully that should've been a helmet to helmet call.

Regardless I love seeing bama lose to ole miss.

Ole Miss can't even wait until the 2nd half to begin collapsing.

Alabama washed that lead right off the books.

Houston could be #2 by the end of the day.
