In before LOFs say, "Numbers are clear, Lin is twice as good as Beverley" $6m salary vs $12m. Versus last year, when all comparisons were on a per $ basis.
With Tomofey freaking Mozgov getting $16MM per year, it's fair to say that Lin is still being underpaid  He can be the primary ball handler, play 35+ minutes as a starter on a scrub team and all the Lin fans can get a bunch of P n R with Brook or whatever they want. And we can put to end the false notion that Lin only cares about winning.
definitely looks like good value with the contracts numbers being thrown around this morning especially with guys like baezmore and mozgov
Jerry getting the whole package! Look at that! <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Sources: Lin's three-year, $36M deal with Nets includes a player option on third year, trade kicker and bonuses.</p>— Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojVerticalNBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/WojVerticalNBA/status/748882821985497089">July 1, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
A year long journey of debating started off with a couple punches from the anti Lin camp. Let the game begin
Would be interesting if his Bonuses are based on MPG or Games Started, and the LOFs find out what the numbers are. They will then have proof of employer racism motivated by money if he struggles to hit his bonus targets.

http://www.netsdaily.com/2016/7/1/12078628/jeremy-lin-announces-hes-joining-the-brooklyn-nets these guys are SUPER happy ^^^^^ heard they may pair jennings with him in the back court
There has been quite a bit of those lately. Bazemore, D. Carroll, , E.Moore... lots of guys getting paid who were once barely holding onto one of the last roster spots on their teams. Hell, Carroll and Moore were both Rockets for a short period. Throw-ins in trades that were quickly cut. As for Lin, I think him signing with the Nets is partly money, and partly his relationship with their new head coach, whom he knows from working together back in the days.
