Honestly- he will be injured sooner or later and will be gone for a long time. Stupid to go to NOLA with that injury history. Well atleast he's got something in common with his franchise

You never know ... if DMo has been physically cleared wherever he went. He could still get a decent deal next season with the Nets. Granted, it might not be $37m over 4 years ... but it could still well be $20m over 4 years. Still doing a lot better than all of us here.

Ok. Let's not get into an athlete's earning vs. a normal person's income.

It is not going to be pretty lol.

depends on how he plays pretty much, if he puts ups something like 11/6, he will be in range on 8-10 per

If he plays every game this season, more than 20 minutes per game, hits 48% of his FG's and 35% of his 3's, he will get an excellent contract in the summer. And that's fine. If he doesn't play well or can't get through it healthy, he will struggle to get a contract. Get over it guys. At this point you're trashing or glorifying him just to spite others on the board. The truth is things are uncertain, no one is absolutely sure of anything.

I hope he has an excellent season, elevates the Pelicans and gets a nice contract in the summer while we win the championship. Is that ok?

Given DMo passing New Orleans' physical, does this imply he never failed a Rockets physical, and the Pistons were just get cold feet about their plunging draft pick at the time?

So, after all this, we still don't know why the Rockets let D-Mo go? It seems it wasn't because of the physical.

Why does it have to be a mystery?

If its anything OTHER than his physical than it probably would have leaked out by now. You'd also hear some pretty sour grapes from BJ & D-Mo who would have alot to say IF the Rockets and D-Mo just simply couldn't get along enough to make D-Mo 7++ million more than he's making with the Pelles. If that was the case, D-Mo and BJ would surely want to explain themselves and their decision making.

The fact that all parties have been extremely tight lipped all but confirms it was the physical and the Rockets are protecting him as much as they can so he doesn't get blackballed (if he isn't already as evidence to ONLY getting a 600K offer from a non-destination team).
