Wonder if the NBA follows the NFL's lead and pushes everything back.

The draft in late July followed by August summer leagues perhaps keeps the fans more engaged throughout the summer.. and then with training camp starting in October you are only talking about one month, really, with no major basketball news to cover.

I guess the problem is you'd have to move free agency back another month, too... though again, that makes sense from a fan engagement standpoint.

    ----

As an aside, sorry if this has been asked, I didn't pay too much attention to game 5. Why didn't Spoelstra play Rashard more?

    Whatever you say, soft fan.

Outsiders come to Houston and laugh at our weak, soft, bandwagoning selves. Believe whatever you want if it helps you sleep.

Personally Kobe and Duncan are on the same spectrum when it comes down to who I don't care about.

Fair enough. He stepped over the line.

You have your right, and others have the right to dislike Spurs players, a rival franchise as well.

Not only is Kobe done. He "did" the Lakers as well with his new contract. Kobe still doesn't understand that it was Phil Jackson who was the real creator of their rings.

I probably lessen my stance on him, hate him a little less because we share the same love for the "football" game.

Yes Kobe prounced it "football" during interviews instead of "soccer".

Then, people will say the Spurs have a bad match with the Rockets, see what we did for them during the season?

Sorry to offend anyone. I had this conversation several times during the Finals and always ended up looking like the bad guy. Apologies.

    Go Rockets!!!
