Clippers are lobbying hard for Deandre Jordan to NOT sign with the Mavericks and come back to LA. Looks like Deandre started to have second thoughts about Mavs as soon as he found out Jeremy Lin might be coming on-board. On the bright side for the Mavs, if DAJ does go back to Clippers (which is unlikely in my opinion), the Mavericks will then have enough cap space to offer Jeremy Lin a max contract.
