budinger is more athletic than novak, has a quicker shot than novak, and can play better defense (that's not saying much) than novak.

    2008: 3-2
    2007: 4-1
    2006: 5-0

That is all I could find.

So up to today, we are 15-3 in Summer League Games since 2006.

    Not bad.

Budinger is WAY better than Novak......WAY better.

He has been fun to watch...and fits Adelman's read and react offense to a T....sort of Brent Barryish...in the way he plays.

    So smooth !

Budinger and Novak are only similar in that they are white. Budinger had his head above the rim for a dunk, a better midrange game, and can handle the ball fairly well.

Wow dude, thanks for the stats, their awesome. I hope Budinger can keep up the offensive numbers. Hopefully, he can improve his D before the season starts, and he will be fun to watch. Also on a sidenote, Dorsey is a beast on the boards, and has the tough mentality that this team needs now that Ron is history. If Budinger keeps playing like he is, he will make the team for sure. Good to see. :D

CBud has looked pretty good so far, I like his game. I watched all 3 summer league games, and he seems to move well without the ball, make good cuts, and catch and shoot with a quick release. He also uses the backboard very well a la Rudy T.

Comparisons with Novak aren't fair to his overall game. He moves much better and more fluid than Novak. His smooth stroke is comparable but thats it. Oh, and maybe his matador defense is comparable to Novak, but hey, half the scorers in the league are poor defenders, especially in their first few seasons.

You haven't been around a while have you? Who was it that won the 96 slam dunk contest? As much as I like Chase as a player he couldn't even win in his high school contest. You can't compare the two now, but when Brent was younger he had excellent passing skills, can shoot medicore defense.. So yeah, I'm gonna disagree with you and say they are similar

I'm flabbergasted. I never thought I'd hear you say that about anyone. Next thing you know you'll be saying he's better than V-Span!

It's like I don't even know you anymore, man.
