The 2006-2007 mavs even though they collapsed in the playoffs losing to the golden state warriors as the 1 seed. They did in fact start their season off with an 0-4 record the mavs losing to the warriors was a pure mismatch for them but they did end up with the 1 seed this should give us hope going into okc even if we lose we should keep our heads up as red nation. We must be louder than ever against OKC. Give the team motivation to win make the rockets feel that playoff intensity to whoever is going to this game. Be loud guys. yes but they played hard teams and some on the road. This is nothing compared to what going on right now with rockets. This team is not looking very good at all.
There will always be some random record out there that you can take solace from but those are generally exceptions to the norm and very rare of happening. Next we will see people say Miami Heat started 9-8 without seeing the major differences.
This was a mavs team coming off a championship. We are coming off a wcf finals appearance. We have no comparisons to that miami team because they were all new to each other. We compare more to this mavs team because we have a main guy who is our main guy on offense harden-dirk then the whole team plays around them
