2 years without a 1st round pick?

    how did the rocks go 2 years without a first round pick???

    this year was the Glen rice deal, what was last year? what we oped memphis for the Fransis deal? the T-morris deal?

    Do not worry - we do so poorly in the draft generally - unless laid out for us like Hakeem or Yao- Draft picks are our enemy....

    Look guys...

    salary situation is improving...

    There aren't any good dudes in the draft anyway...

    If there was a draft in which I had to give up a first round pick this would be the one I would choose. Next years draft is going to be pretty good I think...

    There are also a lot of point gaurds that are going to be way down the list that might be worth checking out 55 players down the list...

    Next year maybe we'll get some bad-ass big man...

    it's also not going to be hard to convince a free agent to come play with Yao and McGrady... There are going to be some really good players that the Rockets should be able to pick and choose from this summer... And they aren't going to need time to develop or have to go play overseas for a while before they are ready to contribute.
