I have found two good prospects to take Hakeem's place by searching a database of international Pro players.

    David Wood- Center
    Purefoods DJ Hotdogs (Phillipines)
17 rebounds a game (leads league)
    2000-2001 allstar.

    Buck Johnson- Center
    A.O. Dafni (Greece)
This team just release Blue Edwards and Rod Rhodes, but kept "big man" Buck as their center.

Could these two help the Rockets in the middle?

"The girls danced, started fondling me, I got aroused, they performed oral sex," Ewing said. "I hung around a little bit and talked to them, then I left."

In related news, Dave Jamerson is a free agent. Maybe he could help us in the middle.

Are these guys past rocket players? I remember Buck Johnson, he was flier with Kenny and Vernon. He was one of my favorite players when I was just a kid.

cson, that's just the tip of the iceberg [IMG]

One of my life goals is to go play overseas while I still can, and the Philipines league is a prime target. They suck, they really really suck. I mean, they know how to play, but it's just like pick up games at the local rec.

And all the team names are of their sponser companies. It's hilarious.

    For example:

    mobiline cellulars
    san miguel beermen
    alaska milkmen
    purefoods hotdogs
    shell turbochargers
    gordin's gin boars
    sunkist orange bottlers
    sta lucia realtors

These are all actual names [IMG]

Anyhow, anyone over 6'2" qualifies as a big man. And all the big men there are just ogres, they have no skills. It's like harlem globtrotter basketball with 2 generals teams and no globetrotters. If I don't land a spot when I go try out for these teams, then it would be the saddest moments of my life.

PS. If you're just looking for size at the 5, I suggest signing the Undertaker. I think he's 7 foot.

Yes, it is a joke, but..

    a. At least this is not another thread about Hakeem and his options.

    b. These are ex-Rockets that were moved off the roster- so this is the right forum.

    c. I can't believe skinny Buck Johnson is playing center for somebody! Opposing SFs used to knock him around in the NBA 10 years ago.

How can you guys forget Charles Jones? He played an important part in one championship run.

Now you guys are talkin! I spent 4 years in the PI and think it would be a great place for Patrick Ewing to finish his career.

They have great clubs named Mega Head, Super Head, Fire Empire, etc.

Patrick would probably have to pay through.
