Say a team was willing to take Anderson and picks. Is acquiring Lebron similar to how CP3 was traded out of the picture (buying minimum contracts)?
Yes because that rule was closed in the new cba so those non guaranteed contracts don’t count anymore
I want to make one thing clear. LA thinks they are getting both PG and Bron. Many around the league believe the same. Most everyone I have spoken to think LA is getting both. Do they know that for a fact? No. All the signs are pointing at it. Scottie Pippin on the jump today, go watch that and tell me what you think. His kids from what I'm heading have given VERBAL commitments to go play HS in LA. Is it done? No. Nothing is signed. His family is important to him now. He wants to be around his kids. PG and Kuzma were just recently on the same Fortnite team at E3 in LA. They got along great from what I hear and bonded. Is this for certain that they will get both? No. Nothing is done. We can speculate all we want. I'm telling you what I am hearing. If talks with Sas and Kawhi go south, expect the Lakers to try to package some young talent for him. Will it happen? No one knows! Is this Las dream scenario? Yes. To build a big three. I heard today the Lakers will even throw Lonzo and other pieces to try to get Lillard. They are star hunting. What I've learned all my years.. Where there's smoke, there's fire. Listen to Cat, he makes a lot of sense. He thinks very logically. Oh, also, small tidbit, nothing big. Lakers, if they keep Zo will try for Tony Parker as a bsckup/mentor role
Did you see Stephen A. and Max on first take yesterday talking about how much they missed Marc Stein and said he was on top of these scoops?
I'm glad the Lakers are confident about Lebron wanting to throw his career away so his kid can go to school there, but I still don't see it.
things haven’t been looking good for us the last couple of days Bron Bron, PG, or bust *sigh* we really need a 3rd star
Lebron dream looks like it ain’t happening. Run it back with the team that should have won a ring. That’s the goal.
Like ive said now for a week, people have to let the lebron and paul George thing go. Its plan c or lower from here on out. Expect a move for redick or evans to be the "big move". It sucks. Really does. Cant do anything about it though. Sometimes the rich just get richer. Our hopes have to rest on cp3 and his bum hamstring being healthy next year in the playoffs. Even then, the west just getting even tougher. Sorry guys.
That doesn't really suck though, if Lebron throws the rest of his career away by signing in LA the Rockets should still be the favorite to win the West with the same roster or a slightly better roster. I personally think that Lebron won't sign on to be on the 3rd best team in the west, but who knows?
