Hey guys, about 3 years ago i bought the 1993-1994 Collectors Edition Houston Rockets "Clutch City" DVD Set. Actually 2 copies, one is unopened for collectng. Anyway, I was wondering of anyone had a digital copy of those '95 playoff games especially the Finals series against Orlando. If not, anyone know where I can buy it. Thanks a million and ROCKET 4 LIFE.

I have a copy of the entire game 4 against the magic. It was originally taped on vhs but I since I made a digital avi or mpeg copy of it on 2 disc you can play on the computer. I even have some channel 2 news coverage recorded after the game where reporters were at bars and showing the richmond strip after the game.

technically, since there was no such thing as HD cameras used in sports in 94, it is not in HD. What the video is has been pulled from the 94 Finals boxset, and released at high bitrate.

This commercial is ingrained into my memory permanently. I remember it came on tv just as I was first discovering the joys of basketball and particularly the Rockets.
they dont have any problems releasing 1080p movies from the 80s and 90s... i remember seeing one of the games from 94 recently on an hd tv and it looked pretty good..
It's because they have the original film from the original copy of the movie. I don't think they keep those kinds of originals for sporting events. You're getting yourself into a audio / digital debate here IMHO. But you are right, in a sense.
