were done 14th pick again. 9th seed late season collapse again were ****ing done no playoffs thats is all
I would hate to be half of the people on this board in real life, yes it sucks that we are losing, yes during the game you can voice your frustrations and such but to create a thread to whinge and moan about it? There's a whole game thread where you can talk about it. Pre, during and post game! Seriously, stop being such cry baby attention seekers. WAHH WAHH my team lost I need to let everyone know how upset I am wahh wahh pay attention to me...
it would give us another asset. in all seriousness, to whoever made this thread or agrees with it...GTFO seriously. go cheer for another team. morey has shown why he's the right GM for this team? can you do better? can 25 other GMs do better? im sowwy that we wont win the title this year, but that doesnt discount what this team has accomplished thus far. and, btw, even if this team does finish 9th, that's still a really **** good year for the youngest team in the league. JUST BE HAPPY were even in the playoff race right now.
This is the problem. The "good job, good effort" mentality. People like you are enabling mediocrity. The Rockets need to stop making excuses and step up to the plate. Either make a strong push or tank. None of this 14th pick, 9th place bull****. Remember guys 9th place is literally the worst place you can be. Not good enough to make the playoffs, not bad enough to get a pick that's worth anything.
That's what everyone said last year before the Rockets nosedived in the last ten games or so of the season.
I don't understand the panic. We might not make the playoffs? So what? We weren't/aren't going to make much noise in the playoffs. But we can't be worried about right now..we had no business making the playoffs to begin with then we land Harden. This team has amazing potential and future ahead. And we have Harden. He's a 23 year old star... Future is bright. Just relax and enjoy that this team actually a has a direction now.
Yes but think of the excitement. No not the excitement of the player but the excitement when that player is traded for either a 1st round bust on a crappy team or a 2nd round pick from a crappy team. Always looking forward...to the excitement that is...
our mindset is not stuck in "mediocrity". it's stuck in competing. im sorry, but the thunder are the only team that have successfully rebuilt through high draft picks. it's an incredibly lucky system. i mean, look at the kings. or the bobcats. hornets. raptors. bucks. twolves. being bad for an extended period of time doesnt do anything. it gives you the chance of landing a possibly good player. but, like the bobcats last year...they had the worst season EVER and still missed the #1 pick.
