That’s pretty good. As an individual defender Ariza is better than Paul, but I think team defense wise Paul has a greater impact.

Yes, Anderson is way overpaid. His play this season has been okay on both ends of the court. Last few weeks he has been asked to play in the middle => not a good fit for him at all but he has some blocks and his board are up. What would Capela look like if asked to spread the floor? Hay coach let the players do what they excell at.

 

Anderson + primary ballhandler's PnR are always in the middle because that creates the most space for the ballhandler to penetrate. The lanes are filled correctly and our snipers are positioned correctly if the PnR is done in the middle.

Ryno hasn't been getting open lately, and I don't know if that's on him (moving really slow) or if the defense has just completely keyed in on him, sticking to him like glue. If it's the latter, it's essentially 4-on-4 basketball, which should be even better for us.

Harden not being the worst defender in the rotation is a joke.

And better defender than Nene? Fantasy land.

Harden literally doesn't play transition defense or contest shots in halfcourt situations.

 

Moute is the clear #1 IMO

Capela has a big impact on the game due to his rim protection, while he may not be as solid fundamentally as Paul his length and athleticism makes him very effective at anchoring the paint, its a tough one between these 2
