100% NOT behind Morey

If you really believe that 2,000,000 people kept in camps are all guilty of crimes, then I don’t know what to tell you. That is a massive number of people with zero evidence of any of them having committed crime.

 

I never said I have your words "full knowledge" of those matters. I just find those claims are hard to believe, ridiculous to some extent.

 

I am a westerner that lived in China and has gone back in the last two years. There is certainly economic growth but there are already more restrictions than 7 years ago.

My sister in law lived there her entire life until 8 years ago. What I saw living there was that Chinese said one thing in public and vastly different things in private. They were very good people but didn’t want to be noticed by CCP.

My sister in law said when she came to USA for college she was very defensive and protective of China. Said there were some idiots that just didn’t like Chinese but learned that CCP really was restricting freedoms and decided she would never go back if possible.

Now that is just her story and my experiences.

Yes, ccp really tightening its control over its people, especially after Xi took power. No doubt about it. But saying ccp is committing genocide or some sort is a much serious matter.

 

Old time Rocket fan here too - been following the team since they move here from San Diego.

Morey really should have just kept his mouth shut on the subject …. It was a billion dollar mistake to insert himself into foreign government politics.

I hope he doesn't lose his job over it …. But I can see why he would. You cost your employer that kinda money , you are likely getting fired - no matter how good you are at your actual job.
