Everyone can bash the Coaches all they want but this is ALL moreys fault. time for him to go last year.

If he was Black, oowee, he would be killed mercilessly with all these d@m hypocrites on this site praising this guy.

Barkley was right about losers who has zero background and capability in this league.

Just go back to the background and crunch numbers like you did in Boston Morey, and even then take his philosophy with a grain of salt.

Morey should take a hiatus from managing

for his wellbeing and for improvement

Morey has had a solid run as GM over the last 10 years. I am not trying to take anything away from that.

If 10 years is not long enough, how long is long enough?

Seriously would like to? 15 years? 20 Years? As long as he wants the job?

    What is the qualifier?

I guess Le$ only knows that for sure.

Morey & Hinkie need(ed) 10 more years, respectively. Give it time.

Yea, i've said it repeatedly...this is just one of those mistakes that you can't even begin to justify....its insane that someone as smart as Morey would institute a plan that stupid.

He would get a pass for a year...maybe 2....I guess even 3. But For as long as Harden's been here he has gone for tweenie PFs and has yet to go after key shooting specialists.

The most 3pt centered team in NBA history.

Wrap your head around that...then try and explain why they have some of the worst 3pt shooters in the league.

Yeah, i think a lot of guys are just b****ing cause they need to canalize their anger in some direction, i'm sure they'll ask to have Morey back after a couple of years under Bryan Colangelo...

Yeah I know...right? A GM with a 59% winning percentage over 10 years is worthless.

mmm. D12 missed half the games and a healthy DMO filled in quite nicely. Then Corey Brewer was actually a viable player instead of the inept jagaloon he is now. Josh also played well. Now he is just a walking bag of water with a pulse.

"My husband beats me but I don't think I could find someone better."

Believe it or not, thats the line that is often used.

Good thing 1st round exits aren't included in that.

Some of you trying to justify a team of this talent missing the post season are a disgrace. You'll find any sort of excuse. Last season was lightning in a bottle, we have the same players and still can't break past the 9th seed.

If you aren't ashamed, you should be.

No one saw Morey coming in 2006 Le$ shocked the world when he made there hire.

    It was a good hire!

I just feel 10 years is enough. Le$ needs to hire search firm and find the next hidden Gem.

More deserves better than being a lame duck GM for the next two years.

Do you really think Le$ is going to reup Morey in 18/19 if we do not win in the next two years?

There is no reason that folks can't channel that anger into productive thinking. I gave a candidate I thought folks would jump on with Battier. Surprised nobody wouldn't think to give him a chance.

I think the main thing IMO is when you look at A. (what goals likely need to be accomplished), it kind of puts things into perspective on who is best for the job.

I will say this though... IF Morey is really being stubborn behind closed doors, and is crazy enough to think that it was a fluke and with another season this team will turn it around, and the likes of Brewer and Ariza are actually good players, then he needs to go.

If he really is smart enough (and I think on face value he certainly is) to realize what this team really is, and the tough choices that need to be made, I don't see anyone with that kind of background to execute massive roster & coaching turnover at a high level... except maybe Hinkie who might be back anyways in an assistant role.

If we keep Morey Battier would be a great candidate as a head coach.

Shane needs to cut his teeth as an assistant first.

People forget Steve Kerr was a front office guy for a while before he became a head coach.

Oh yes, I agree. Battier would command respect.

I don't think so, Battier is a champion, is SUPER smart, and is just the basketball guy that Morey needs to help him understand the chemistry and winning side of the equation.

If it were my team - I would keep Morey, but put Rudy T above him as President of Basketball OPs, and hire Battier as head coach.
