The level of ignorance is amazing.

The problem isn't the Rockets system. The problem is the Rockets have not been hitting shots and have not kept up their defensive intensity.

If the Rockets decide to tweak this off season and go for someone like Kenny Atkinson (who Daryl knows well and has employed before) so be it, but there will not and should not be any major changes made at this point.

The Rockets are not the most talented or best team in the league. Deal with it.

 

The roster are vets, so they should have defensive fundamentals. Is the small line up making the team working too hard on defense?

If it is as Jeff Green said in last game, where if it is defensive habits. That to me is more encouraging, because those are correctable. Jeff seems like he can be one of the vet vocal leaders in locker room. If it is energy and tired legs that's tougher to change because team (while can get more in shape) can only go so far and this is an older team.

I like the new personnel additions, but I think the gel and team communication is still a work in progress. This pertains to the defense. And extends to offense also; there're plays where team was being unselfish, but the lack of familiarity leads to pass not connecting; turnovers.

Also while CFers likes the new additions, are the existing guys, (House BMac and Tuck having less rhythm and playing more nervously because they're not sure about their minutes). It's more than just RoCo replacing Capela, but few other new faces.

I hope the team work themselves out and put team first.
