I agree....he may be the missing piece. Happy Rockets resigned Brewer and to a lesser degree Beverley.
Still can't believe this was posted. Rockets would have had a real shot at beating GSW with Stuckey instead of Terry and Pablo taking most of the minutes.
Ya I really want LMA because he's the perfect fit for our team but getting smith and stucky and bringing all the guys back would be killer if we can stay healthy that's a 60 win team and fighting for a 1 seed. I def wouldn't mind. Stucky had a nice year is big can play a little d and I think what ppl are forgetting is he's never played with a guy of James harden and dwight Howard's caliber. I think it would open a lot of things up for him on the offensive side of the ball.
Lol wut. Stuckey is a shooter. Shot almost 40% from three last year. And he can get us 15/5/5 almost every night coming off the bench.
Well, the Rockets acquired the pick from the Wizards, if we are going to be weirdly pedantic, but carry on, dude.
The idea that the Rockets "don't need" somebody who can come off the bench and get you 30 is insane to me.
Stuckey was arguably one of the most improved when it came to his 3 pt shot. Factor in that it's this late in his career and he's still improving in some aspect ? Yes please.
You gotta think his 3-point shooting % will come back to earth some, but even still, I'd be on board with Stuckey for the MLE, with Llull out of the picture.
That was when he was with the Pistons. If you watched him play in Detroit, he focused a lot more on driving to the lane than shooting. Kinda John Wall-esque just worse. With the Pacers, he was in a slower system and his explosiveness was somewhat lost so he focused more on jumpshots, and started making them
40% last year and only shot 1 three per game with the Pistons where he was a cutter more than anything else. Shot around 3 per game with the Pacers.
