what forums or sites do you guys read on investing? I have a merrill edge account for my roth ira and planning to look at some ETFs to buy. I know vanguard is popular but other than those, any recommendations since I dont have an account with vanguard?

I went with merrill edge b/c I bank with BOA and its easy to just keep up with everything on one account

 

any thoughts on Go Pro?

 

Gpro - it could be a takeover target in the 60 dollar range but from what I saw on the action on Friday.. Not sure I'd buy it here. On Friday, it had significant big block selling.

 

I think you missed the point here. My argument wasn't for it going to work forever. I was stating this was the reason why it was pegged up.

Thinking about buying 6k worth of it.. after doing some intensive research!

does it look like parity between the dollar and euro soon? im surprised the euro held its ground today. im thinking about getting out of this and putting that money back towards stocks.

 

UVXY crushed it today. Still a POS, though.

 

picked up some SPXU (triple short S&P) this morning for some protection. hopefully this greek mess resolves itself

 

So, now that the Greek failed to make the payment today, should we brace for dip in the market within the next couple of days?

 

I'm watching spx with 2080 being a top. Intermediary support at 2054 And floor 2040. If it goes below 2040 then things can get ugly really fast

 

I tend to think that the down side is the only thing that really makes sense at this point in time.

SPY hanging onto that 200 day MA

DIA closing below the 200 day MA two days in a row

QQQ the strongest, but hitting the 200 day MA on the QQQ is the next solid support around 105

 

Any opinions on NVidia and their foray into chips for self driving cars?

I put spy when spx hit 2080. expires in 2 days, the spy 208 puts so will just ride it out.. while checking the board. ha ha.

 

I don't have a specific company comment. Rather I have an industry wide comment. Semis though a broad industry looks to be weakening right now.
