Not enough time to see if it is a duplicate. Agree with everything, but not wrt to Harden. Enjoy! http://grantland.com/the-triangle/nba-shootaround-houston-rockets-clippers-comeback-game-6/
" I thought Corey Brewer and Josh Smith were Corey Brewer and Josh Smith. Turns out they are Corey Brewer and LeBron James." pure gold
"The Rockets deserve credit for hitting shots down the stretch, but that was more collapse than comeback." What's it gonna take for the media to believe in the Rockets? Nothing short of a championship it seems...
Dwight Howard and James Harden did not make a field goal in the 4th quarter and the Rockets outscored the Clippers 40-15. Amazing.
Agreed. I repped him. Coincidentally (note that it is NOT ironic), two of the office computers are having issues with Microsoft Exchange today.
Haha... "Junior Varsity Paul Pierce." Terry isn't nearly as boastful, though (and he isn't quite as good as Pierce basketball-wise, either).
There isn't enough talk about how much the Rockets stepped it up on defense. If we'd played defense like that the whole series we would have swept. It was amazing. Jason Terry on Chris Paul and all of the rotations onto Blake. The Rockets shut them down much more than a collapse from the Clippers.
The defensive intensity was so good in the 4th. I really liked that we went hard at Griffin and Jordan when they attacked the rim. The brewer block on Jordan's dunk and Smith's block on griffin were huge.
The Clippers looked lost on the offensive end. Amazing after some of the stuff we've seen from them in the series.
The Rockets turned it into a playground park game of 5 on 5. Jamal, Redick, Glen Jr, and Barnes were snuffed out. I love when Cliff Paul and Optima get going early leaving no shots for the rest of their crew.
He says he thought Blake was 1994 Barkley until he saw him in the 4th quarter. Maybe he should pull up the 4th quarters vs. the Rockets in the playoffs of 1994 and rethink that.
