I am consistently amazed at the bench Morey has built. It changes the game each and every night.

Harden 0-6 in the first quarter then he went 4-7 in the other three

The bench Is relentless. Brew must be exhausting to guard.

Tonight the bench showed why it's so awesome but also showed why it's so unreliable. It's almost all transition points. Energy on defense leading to easy baskets on offense. Once the Clippers settled down and hit some shots, forcing the Rockets play half-court game, that lineup began to have trouble.

I think the Rockets need to find some ways to run more plays for DMo and/or Josh Smith more in the half court so we don't look so discombobulated out there without Harden.

Um, Doc brought his starters back, of course the Clippers starters are better than our bench. The thing about our bench is they can win you a game in a playoff series, which is what they basically did today.

Great freaking job Rockets. We finally beat them chumps.

Jones and Dmo handled their business.

What a major spark by Brewer. I love his energy off the bench. Great acquisition by Morey.

I did not say anything about the bench should be better than other starters. I was speaking of how they can score and how they can't. The way to beat the Rockets bench is by playing conservative offense and reduce TOs. That's all I said.

They weren't playing adventurously, we were pressuring them and they were coughing it up, they didn't start playing more conservatively, the difference was literally Chris Paul and how incredibly good he is at dealing with pressure.

They were turning it over etc then this happened

Rivers Substitution replaced by Redick 08:04
Turkoglu Substitution replaced by Hawes 08:04
Barnes Substitution replaced by Paul 08:04

    then the turnovers stopped

It wasn't anything too crazy. Paul was trying to get a steal/foul and it looked like he grazed Harden across the eye. Chris Paul is a douche.

And then the Rockets offense stopped.

Hence, my conclusion that we need some more offensive sets that don't involve Harden. Not sure why this is such a contentious issue with you?

Harden didn't help his MVP chances tonight. Looked very tentative, almost fearful. That is disturbing. Do the Clippers have him that psyched out? Anyway, the game was won by the bench. May be one of the best benches in the NBA. TJ and DMO helped, but so did Brewer, Smith, the new guy, Jet, and even Abrickzer.

Really proud of the team. Team win.

We had more blocks, more steals and less TO's than Clippers. That will result in win 90% of time.
