Between KJ, Brewer and Smith I think they may be the best defensive tandem that we've had since Battier and Artest. Adding them to Ariza, Bev and Howard, McHale can mix and match those guys to slow down almost anyone. Being able to throw waves of multiple high quality defenders at everyone from Lillard, Westbrook and Paul to Aldridge, Duncan and Dirk might be what gets us out of our playoff drought.

Having Prigioni on the team allows McHale to stop using Terry as our backup PG and gives Terry fewer minutes, mostly serving in his true position as SG when Harden's off the floor. I don't think most people on CF realize what a HUGE addition that is for us. When Bev sits, we get an actual POINT GUARD taking his place, and when Harden and Bev are both out, we have someone with the smarts and experience to run the offense. Don't underestimate the impact Prigioni is going to have on this team.

According to KJ, the blocked shot actually richoted off a female bystander giving her a concussion. He sent her flowers as an apology I believe.

Morey still has a move or two coming up. Buyouts and waived players will offer some options.

If the OP's info is accurate (which I have no idea one way of the other), then he is no Iggy. Iguodala is one of the top wing play makers. According to the OP, McDaniel's weakness is court vision.

I really like both these moves, they give us something, if anything at worst its just a lateral move.

Pablo will bring alot of playmaking for the second unit which is what we need.

KJ has alot of potential and can help us now as well.

Mcdaniels is a 2, how is he undersized? Did you expect us to have another all star center to come in and play behind our superstar C? A big rotation of Motie/Jones/Smith/Dorsey is as good as you can hope for after losing the best center in the league to injury.

It doesn't address the center at all, I think we can assume the FO and the medical staff are optimistic about Dwight's recovery and return timetable.

It would seem getting the PG we wanted would have costed us DMo and Morey thinks DMo is a better long term prospect.

    Warriors didn't.
    Grizzlies didn't.
    Blazers didn't.
    Clippers didn't.
    Spurs didn't.
    Thunder didn't.
Suns actually got worse at PG.

    I'm confused.

Would burying KJ on the bench keep his value low and allow us to resign him on the cheap?

Don't want him tantalising would be suitors with his talent now do we?

I'd like to see him get minutes though, especially to see what he can do defensively.

Prigioni should be able to hit open 3s more consistently than Ariza or Beverly.

Thanks for the read. Here's the Houston part of the McDaniels deal:

Sounds like a pretty smart move IMO. Not sure why ESPN gave Houston only a "B" though. Maybe they think highly of Canaan and downgraded it accordingly?
