It's gonna be unbelievable if all freaking season long we've been hoping and praying that Phoenix would maybe entertain the idea of trading Dragic, yet here we are where Dragic has a foot out the door and burning every bridge back to Phoenix and we might not even be a serious consideration for him/PHX.

I really don't understand the notion that Goran wants a 5 year deal from a big market, but won't even consider Boston.
We are the only LOGICAL trade partner for Phoenix. Boston and Sacramento won't give up much of anything for him. NY, LA and Miami will wait to pursue him in the off season. So they trade him to us for the NOs pick and scraps, or keep him and he walks. One is logical and one is illogical. Not saying that they are smart with how they have handled it so far.
People forget Dragic isn't in control of where he goes. He can reccommend, but it's up to the Suns to decide. Rockets can make the best deal for him and that's what it is likely going to be, he's already a Rocket.
Dragic and his agents may not intend it, but they are leaving PHX no choice except to trade with us. PHX FO may have screwed up but they're not that dumb to trade him to NY, LA, MIA where they get no return at all.
