Like seriously, how is he NOT getting PT? McHale is a freaking idiot. He cant do no worse than Beverley or Terry right now.

    This.

I like his potential, but he's not there yet. This was a bad game for just about everyone.

Canaan's sprained ankle and Rubio's sprained ankle are taking forever to heal.

Even if Canaan's ankle has healed, do you think McHale would give him more minutes than Terry. I'm inclined to think he wouldn't.

You prove that in practice, and when giving an opportunity in a game you take it.

Jones did that, Dmo did that, Black did that before being release for odious reasons.

They sent him to the D-league for a reason, he is not fully healthy, he need to kill it there before he can come back to prove himself, Rockets are in a race, no time for in game training that was the last couple of years, now coach will ride who he feels can help him get a W.

An severe ankle injury hurt Brooks career for a long time, this guards need those ankles better than any other positional players.

Technically, he isn't hurt. If he was, then more PT wouldn't be the answer. It sounds like he's having trouble with his confidence.

Suggest you watch the recent RGV D league showcase game...and then tell us who is the idiot.

    One game?????

Let's ignore how he played as a starter with the big club and take one game from the dleague?

I suggest you watch the totality of his play. Period.

Of all the potential fillers for a trade for a playmaker, Capela and Canaan are the ones I would like to keep. Capela has the most potential to be a star or a bust. Canaan, pre-injury, showed that he belongs in the NBA.

Mismanaged player. This guy should be the backup pg getting 15-20 mins every game. Very upset about this situation. He's the only guy that can beat his man off the dribble besides harden. JET is too old to play backup pg. Jet needs to play spot mins alongside harden. Canaan needs to be on the floor when harden rests.

Canaan is a strong PG but unfortunately he doesn't have many PG skills. He needs to watch tape of Lowry all summer.

And our current starting PG has PG skills? Just look at yesterday's game. When Harden is having an off game, we need a PG that can SCORE and create shots. Canaan is already way better at that than Beverley.

I agree though if it meant getting Lawson, i have no issue parting ways with Canaan in a trade.

To get a player of Lawson's caliber, if it will take D-Mo and fillers. At the end of the day, we must get a playmaker.

    Someone repped:

It's likely the truth, whether you like it or not. No one ever says go play a pro game to let your ankle heal. Either he's hesitating because of a lack of confidence and the team wants him to work that out, or he's being saved for a trade. However, the latter doesn't make a ton of sense, since they sent him to play in the D League, so that's not saving him from potential injury.
