Money talks. How many times has LEs paid tax? On the flip side, how many times has Morey made a move to get under the tax. Les ain't spendin
Really like Plan B but you gotta set that deadline for numerous free agents (Deng, Ariza, Tucker, Hill, etc). I'd keep Asik but would finalize Lin and the Rockets pick for future 2nd picks or a pair of the four 2nd rd picks Philly had this year. That would be around 13 mil in cap space plus the exceptionsthat can only be used BEFORE matching Parsons. Beverley/Brooks/Canaan Harden/Anderson/Daniels (Deng/Ariza/Tucker)/Parsons/Garcia Jones/Hill/Covington Howard/Asik/Motiejunas A much better team. Look at all the moveable pieces available on the Rockets bench near the trade deadline. Asik (expiring!), Parsons, Hill or Jones, Motie, etc. Could be enough for a big time player maybe even two.
Honestly doesn't Bosh see the writing on the wall? He needs to man up and make a descision for himself instead of letting someone else dictate his future. He obviously understands that if he stalls on the rockets than we lose talent.
Interesting, because the only other solid-sounding info I have heard came yesterday where the source was tied into Nike. Hmmm
Thanks for this post! This seems very plausible but I don't understand how Bosh could be THIS out of the loop. Bosh has put so much stock in playing with Lebron and Lebron has kept him in the dark completely. I'd bet Wade knows Lebron's plan too... Bosh is the guy proposing at mid court and Lebron is like "Bruh." Read the writing on the wall Bosh or get this guy some glasses!
Bosh can have his cake and eat it too. Max money plus playing on a strong team. All he has to do is make a decision and stick with it.
Guys just calm down... We can't play till October so what's the point of being the first to know? Enjoy the process!
My God, my heart can't take anymore of this... I thought the Dwight Saga was bad but this is way worse.
