They are salty we have Harden and Howard. Parsons is a traitor for even attempting to sign with that slime of an organization.

Seriously. If he couldn't play basketball (physically), the front office and fans wouldn't give a rats ass about him. Take the money; Morey would do the same thing.

LOL, if you withdraw offer than Parsons becomes a UFA, and then the Rockets cannot match, since our right to first refusal vanishes in that scenario.

have to admit for offseason this is pretty exciting. toggling between lebronjames.com and clutchfans, morey and cuban going at each other, parsons drama and rockets possibly awaiting arrival of bosh, something that i never thought was possible and lin possibly leaving town a year early.

    very interesting.

Since we have been negotiating with him all day we are probably against paying him that much or else he would have just signed with us... he might be gone

Looks like Morey doesn't want to pay Parsons that much anyway.

Maybe this opens S&T options with the Mavs? We get picks and a trade exception to use to get someone, Bosh?

I don't know. I don't want Parsons for 15 million / year. Nope. Have at him, cubes!

The Rockets franchise hinges on the decision LBJ makes and how quickly does he make it......... Come LBJ, one time for Htown man..... Bosh needs to hurry up and get here quick. like i said, we will have 4 days to waive all the non gurantted players, trade lin, sign bosh, resign parsons, or risk losing out on everyone.

as a Houston fan I say at 15m/year let him walk. He began having really bad back spams last year which is never a good sign for a player at his height and his defense has been regressing since his first year

its going to suck not having his slashing on the team but he is no where even close to being worth 15m/year.

Mavs being my rival team I'm all for replacing Parsons and ****ing the Mavs cap for the next few years.

after dealing with T-Macs back spams/issues I'd personally hate to have another max player (that talent wise is nowhere near max level) who has back spasms/issues

If we signed Dirk for the max while letting Dallas have Parsons for $15MM I would laugh really hard for a really long time at Cuban.

You can't fault Parsons here. You can't. He played for **** the last several years and never dragged his feet over it. Morey made it clear that it was about business, so this is going to be about business. Why should he be falling over to take a paycut when the Rockets know they owe him no less than $15M in backpay.

Morey was never going to give him a fat contract without his hand being forced, so Parsons forced his hand. He has every right in the world to want the biggest deal he can get, and all of us would do the same.

Of course Cuban was going to do this, we knew it was coming.

    Upside:
He's still ours if we want him, and we all know he wants to be here
    It's a 3 year deal. Nothing catastrophic
We've got time to make our moves.....so long as James doesn't stall
