Kudos to the Rockets Org. no need to let out comments before the hard facts are in. Just look at how the media handled the Malaysia Air disaster. Premature comments can cause serious repercussions PR-wise and more importantly the individuals involved, namely the ones commenting.

    oh God...Marge Schott.
From this point on Rocket players should keep comments basic, we don't need anything else to get Portland fired up more than they already were based on Parsons comments.

To be honest, I don't even really care about his comments. Isn't he like 80 years old? He grew up in a different time and he's old. Who really cares if he's racist or what he says?

If we had vets, then I wouldn't be okay with this. But we have a really young, hollywood, attention-craving roster, so who knows what one of these fools might post on twitter.

Imagine Dwight says something dumb like "they should all refuse to play for LA and come join Houston" and we got sanctioned by the league for it.

Absolutely ok with this. Especially since we've only heard one side, and it sounds like a very vindictive side.

They need to worry about guarding LMA before talking about a racist old man.

Since when are ASSETS allowed to have opinions? You'll hear their opinion when Morey gives it to you.

Yeah, that's their personal issue with him. I don't know him, I don't work for him, so I don't really care.

So he's an old racist guy. He can say whatever crazy stuff he wants... it doesn't bother me any.

It doesn't affect the Rockets players at all either. Yes, we know... all the players do not like his comments. No player is going to defend him. So what's the point of commenting.

Not every player needs to comment to the media about it.

What exactly will change due to the voice of the Rockets players?

The Clippers players are the ones who need to step up to the plate on this.

Are Les and Sterling buddy buddy? Seems weird to me. Yes, it's a distraction, but it's a distraction shared equally, since every team is being asked about it.

I agree and think this^^ sums it up. The players have a right defy an order and express their opinion rather than act like this is a non issue. Hope this changes in the future when things are cleared up, and they get to speak out on the issue.
