    I believe that Jeremy Lin is the best backup point guard in the NBA.

    Not even mentioning intangibles (he never complained about the backup role, is intelligent, a positive role model in the community, seems really close with almost everyone on the team), I think that no other backup point guard has better numbers.

    I am glad he is on our team - I think the same thing about Asik. I really do think that we have the best backup point guard and the best backup center in the entire NBA (in addition to having the best shooting guard and the best center).

    Do you disagree? Do you think there is another backup point guard who is better?

    Well I would say he was until that recent bad stretch he had. Reggie Jackson firmly holds that title now.

    I think OP should include Patty Mills and DJ Augustin in the poll.

    Reggie has bad games too. We just don't watch him so often. His name only got mentioned when he plays well.

    DJ Augustin has had a great season. I wasn't sure whether he is the starter or the backup.

    I watched him play a lot. Seems he's got the same confidence issue as Lin. More athletic than Lin though.
