Suns fan here. Yesterday after getting 24 pts on a 9-15 shooting with 7 reb, Goran talked to reporters and said: I'd just like to sincerely thank Morey again for not giving that 4th year player option to Goran. It allowed us to sign this high character star player to an arguably the best contract in the league. The Suns fans are now discussing what would it take after next year to sign Goran for less than max. Cosidering his loyalty we belive we'll extend him for much less. He want's to win first. Btw,... you guys have a good board here, although (generally speaking) I've never seen this much "obsession" with signing "so called" star players anywhere else. Getting that "3rd star". Probably not even L.A. and N.Y. boards. That's gotta be one of the reasons you guys missed out on Goran. There's such a thing as developing your star players as well. Btw. Goran is the only player besides LeBron and KD that's averaging over 20 pts and 5 ass while shooting over 50% from the field. If we raise the assists av. to 6, KD drops out! So thanks again Morey.
