With Harden out and the win today, I decided to look at the games he's missed this season.

Wait, are you seriously telling me that he is not completely affected by it?!?! Bull****!! It affects us, you and me, when some idiots here keep bringing the topic back to Lin when we are trying to discuss Rockets, you think it didn't affect the "superstar" of the team when he was trying to prove that he deserves a MAX contract. ****, I would be bothered if it was me, putting better numbers than this other dude and people were still talking about him more.

Don't even come to me with Harden being mentally strong either. At this point, all evidence is pointing otherwise.

By the way, it is not an either/or situation like you put it. He needs to play within the system and he needs to stop comparing dicks and play smart. Also, how is what I talked about and playing defense connected? Don't try to put words in my mouth.

Yup, you're the guy that doesn't understand why Detroit is poorly constructed.

AB plays both ends? AB is much below average defensively. He penetrates better than Lin? Who leads the NBA on FGs on drives? He can hopefully get 15 and 7? Lin did as after the all-star break per 36 when healthy.

Yes, that was way off. Lin is one of the better penetrating PGs in the league and number one player finishing at the rim this season. Above LeBron and above Harden. He may not end up that way, but he may be in the top 5 end of the season.

Totally agree. I mean, just look at top SGs of the past without a popular Asian PG on their sides.

Kobe? Always shared the ball and loved his teammates.
Wade? Always pass first. Never tried to carry a team.
Reggie Miller? Never tried to play hero ball. Just a great teammate.
Jordan? All his points came within the flow of the offense. When did he ever try to iso? That's right, I can't remember any instances of such either.

You are so correct, SirKen. Obviously Harden is just jealous of Lin. We all know that there can not be possibly any other reason why Harden would be a ball-hog besides playing with a popular Asian PG. None at all. What Harden's exhibiting is so different from any other star SG, that one cannot fathom his actions without accounting for Lin's existence.

Wow, way to twist it. What does Lin being Asian have anything to do with it aside from his annoying fans bothering all of us?

I don't understand what you are trying to imply here? Why are you twisting the words instead of just accepting the fact that his fans can be annoying and get on the nerves of other people like you and me? I mean, weren't you guys complaining about it before?

I think if Lin were to leave and we were to get another PG, Harden might be more willing to share the ball. That's my opinion and it's pure speculation based on past events. I am sorry for throwing out theories and not circle-jerking like you guys often do here.

I think you guys are so conditioned to overreacting that you are just knee-jerking before even trying to understand that my post is about Harden's mental shortcomings and has nothing to do about propping up Lin or anything. But hey, if you guys like straw mans so much...

    I completely agree with you.

Harden is definitely jealous of Lin's gigantic penis. There is a reason why the most handsome player in the NBA (Parsons) is always hanging out with Jeremy Lin and playing with his ass, but you never see Parsons play with Harden's ass.

    Here is the thing.

Last year when we had that terrible loss streak, I wanted McHale gone because I thought he was developing our players terribly. This included Harden as well since I was afraid he wasn't going to hold him accountable. We got him into the all-star game at the expense of the team record. Now we can all see that Harden has developed some really bad habits.

Last year, I also talked about how McHale was playing Harden too long and how Harden was going to have injury issues towards the end of the season (I wasn't the only one who said it around here). Guess what happened? Harden had to play through injury towards the end.

In both cases, I was a LOF according to the people here. Feel free to call me a LOF again like the King1 because I said some things that you didn't like hearing (I would expect better from you though).

P.S Guys, I have really enjoyed reading your straw man counter arguments. Keep it up! ;)

I had him on ignore for a reason but totally forgot why. At the end of the year I take everybody off of the list as a refresher but some people need to stay on there for good.

"I don't agree with him, so I will put him on an ignore list"

Sounds like the overall mentality here :)

Different team, that team needed him more than this one does....not saying this one doesn't but we are much more talented this year overall - and able to withstand missing key players like Harden.

These comparisons are silly because teams the vast majority of the time put up better team statistics because they know they have to compensate for the loss of a superstar. Look at the Lakers and Spurs.

    Time to update the numbers...

    Mon 12/23 vs DAL (15-12, 4-9 away)
    L 111-104
    Team Assists: 23
    FG%: 54.3
    OPP FG%: 50.6
3 Pointers Made: 2.5 less than season average*

    * - Because cherry picking stats is fun

With a healthy Harden, I think we would've won tonight.

I still think he is adjusting to being the number one perimeter option and seeing how the defenses adjust to him and you can see how long it takes to adjust to that if you look at LeBron or KD among others. Once he learns how to manipulate defenses in his favor (he can already do it at a limited clip) it is going to be deadly.

You know the Cavs were 3-1 without LeBron in their finals year?

What is the point of posting stuff like this...instead of celebrating that we won without our best player, we try to use it as a way to knock him down.
