There is this interview with Casspi which was published on December 13th on Ultimate Rockets.

The topic of the article is about how Omri Casspi eventually ended up playing for Houston and how Houston pretty much "saved" his career in the NBA, he is also regarding to Cleveland and how he felt about playing there.

This is just a slight piece from the article.

I never really saw Casspi play until this year, but did he always shoot these awkward off balanced wrong foot lay up/flip shots? It seems like he averages two of these a game.

I hope on December 15-19, we don't get:

    ring ring

McHale: Hello, Omri, hey I heard about it just now, tough luck.

Omri: Cleveland? Cleveland?!?! I told you I wouldn't go back to that awful place. It's worse than military service in the West Bank.

McHale: Hey, I know it's rough as heck...

Omri: You said you loved me!

McHale: Yeah, well, I didn't say anything about Daryl Morey. He doesn't love anybody...

But Pops didn't tell him "I love you", don't you see?

    I think he's a pretty ****ty player.

He can hit the 3 at a good clip, but overall I'd rather us find a better player taking 20mpg that he's being given.

I thought we signed Casspi just to have a partner to Morey, for pingpong. Not?

Bustoooo, had a hot streak and now it's gone. aka ''born to crawl cannot fly''.

Casspi was one of my favorite players when he came in to the league, he is an excellent role player but is faulty of trying to much, but there are times were he is nice to have, you can tell he works hard on his game and wants to help the team.

obligatory hope he retires a rocket.

With the amount of hate he and the rockets got from his former teams for the signing, it's nice to see him doing well. Looks like genuinely appreciates being in Houston.

I think for what cap they had available he's a pretty good player for the salary constraint. who else would you sign for the min to play 20 min and hit the 3 and say have better attributes?
