Time to blame lin for the loss and trade this scrub

 

What a mess of a game. D’Antoni did a better job than McHale. It was Gasol & Nash that took both Bev & Lin out of the last play to open up Blake for the last shot. I don’t think it was totally Bev or Lin’s fault. Lakers ran a good play to open up their hot 3 shooter.

Harden & Lin had a great 3rd quarter and got the team back in it. Unfortunately, if a healthy Kobe was in this game, I don’t think it would have been this close. I hope Bev didn’t aggravate his injury by coming back early; he played awful tonight. Also, I did not like what Harden did multiple times in the 4th. Yes, he put up 35 (but on 9-24 shooting, too Melo-esque), but there were many plays where he should have involved his open teammates.

 

This one really hurts...

 

Very simple. Gotta switch on that.

 

I have a question.

If it's a bad idea to inbound the ball to Dwight under 2 minutes in a close game...

Why isn't he the man inbounding the ball?

 

I genuinely hope this isn't a big deal. Harden and Howard are lackadaisical players that really rely on their talent and the refs bailing them out. Asik, Lin, Bev, and Parsons all have the lunchpail mentality that I think is far more crucial to having a solid team than anything. I always look towards San Antonio as the best structure for a team that can challenge for the title year in and year out. Even Indiana is starting to develop that sort of team psychology.

Harden and Howard had a ridiculous amount of mistakes tonight. Not saying they're the only ones that are guilty, cause they aren't. But if they're going to start something and mess up team chemistry instead of looking at themselves once in a while, no matter who we trade for this team isn't gonna get anywhere.

We weren't going to win the game anyways. Lucky to even be in it. Harden plays a very terrible one dimensional type of basketball. Iso right outside the three point line every ****ing possession. Pathetic.

 

Secondly, why wasnt Beverly just camping at the 3 poiint line...Gasol isnt setting a high screen....Gasols mid post screen and Nash's hold wiped out Dwight, Bev and Lin...

Ether Lin or Beverley should have been between the inbounded and the man. Instead both were between their man and the basket. Dwight is protecting the basket so no need to worry about the lob. Smfh

 

How did Lin only get 1 shot in the 4th quarter when he was the only Rocket to be shooting well tonight?!

 

what are you talking about..beverly is supposed to switch and go out

 

Basketball in bounding: Get in a line or a huddle. One man is designed to be the in bound man. Set screens for the inbound man. Whoever is guarding the screened man needs to rotate to the inbound man.

 

Guys.....this game was lost in the first quarter again! That horrible inbound pass to Howard by Parsons did no more justice. The game did not have to end with that last possession by the Lakers. Rockets need to get rid of this twin towers line up...

 

it's very common to pick up defender to free up teammates when throwing inbound pass. switch is the typical way to defense this type of plays.

 

If Lin gets blamed for this loss, we ain't winning a title cuz that will mean everyone's delusional. He kept us in the game tonight.

 

Anyone think harden is starting to look a lot like Carmelo?

 

who cares about the last play, it should never have come to that, the Lakers are terrible

Harden's defense, Dwight's poor FT shooting, and the team's poor 3PT shooting are why we lost
