Alright, I convinced myself I have to get this game after I get out of my classes tomorrow. F*** school!
FYI, Rockstar is telling 360 owners to NOT install the "play" disc. The game comes with 2 discs. An "install" disc and a "play" disc. Obviously, you install the "install" disc but Rockstar says that installing the "play" disc as well can negatively affect performance.

Save your money on Saints Row. It's just Saints Row 3 with superpowers and aliens. Exact same map and weak story line. Buy Watch Dogs instead
Yup, just got back from walmart. Short line and they had a box full GTA's sitting under the electronics register.
I was at a walmart killing time till midnight so that I could get my copy from gamestop. There was no line and people were just walking in and grabbing them.
At walmart they gave me the pre order kit with the key chain thingy and blimp for free too. Those things were only for pre orders right?
Picked it up from Walmart off West Airport & 59. Small line, about 10 people. Got the blimp bit didn't get the keychain thing
Played the first mission or 2 and then ran around for 10 mins before i go to sleep and my frirst impression is, perfection. Its a dream game, love everything about it. Especially love the San Andreas influence.
Update on my problem. I cleared the cache and it loaded fine. I was on the phone to Rockstar when I sorted it. Told them what I'd done and that they need to get something on their site about it. Really enjoying the game. It's very funny. A lot of nods to great movie scenes and characters. Swear I'm playing at Ray Leotta at the moment!
