    Hopsin's lyrics always tell a story, but none of his lines ever stand out since they are very straightforward. Very little wordplay.

    I see what you mean. Rakim and Aceyalone's lyrics are definitely more philosophical. Rakim is the greatest rapper ever

    Regarding flow and voice he's the closest thing to Em for sure. Many of his songs are very similar to Em's earlier work(Shady+MM LP,...).

    Uh, no, especially with lyrics. Unless you value word play without substance, there are plenty of guys that destroy them in 16 bars or less.

    There is no better lyricist than Nas right now, or possibly ever.

    Those Slaughterhouse dudes can paint pictures and Joe Budden may be the most honest, underrated lyricist around.

    Hopsin is known for his contacts at this point.

    They have good flow, but that isnt everything.

    One of my friends would never like Tribe bc "they dont get it" it just sounds good.

    These guys are just too weird for mainstream and that not a diss. They are ok, but not what I am looking for in music.

    The name Aceyalone will forever remind of NBA 2k5.

    His song K.O. Player was on there and I don't know why, but it seemed like that song played more than any other on that game. Can't say that I even know any other song by him.
